  • @serk if you ride regularly you'll be fine. I did this last year having only done daily commutes (20 miles a day) and one ride of about 50 miles.
    If you don't ride every day, then I would do a couple of 60-80 milers beforehand. It's not really hilly tho - however not flat, there are lots of long downhills on the first half as I remember, then its fairly flat with some rolling on the last 30-40 miles or so.

    Thanks Clefty! My commute is 5 miles each way and although I do it almost every day I don't think it will be enough to prepare me. Based on your experience it sounds like if I show up to a bunch of TNRC's and do another Brighton or similar as an saddle-warm-up that I'll be okay.
