RETRACTION - APOLOGIES - REVERSE FERRET - GROVEL
Blike has done a disservice to the Tweed Run, we remarked that the event was not "a Charity Ride". Tweed Run benefits Bikes4Africa and so we got it horribly wrong. So apologies to all those who run Tweed Run, the participants, and the good work they do.

Is it a sportive? Perhaps it's a charity ride? No, it's neither, and it's not really about cycling anyway. London's Tweed Run is primarily an opportunity for moneyed hipsters to buy a new wardrobe, and spend a day posing in the capital wearing 1930's tweed garments. Only those with access to a vintage bicycle and an itchy pair of plus fours need attend. Poop poop!

So they pretty much got it all wrong, thank funk for the grovelling reversal.

I can't believe this is happening the week I'm in Japan. Oh Teddy...I'd even bought Mrs Lunch a whole tweed outfit and was making her up a vintage bike. Oh well 2011 will have to do! Have fun...
