  • Building up this nice frame. So far all parts have been sourced from LFGSS (apart from hubs and tyres).

Bought if off Snoops. Think it's a late 60's Carlton. Coming along nicely, but I fear it may be a bit too nice for me actually!!

  • off-road FTW

    unless you're riding on road.

HA! I knew it, i remember that frame, it looks like mine, no doubt, albeit yours has less clearance. Truly a stunner. Your choices so far are flawless. ; )

  • Just picked this up:

A Langdale frame (local bike shop) in 653,
    Shimano 600 groupset,
Mavic rear on Open 4 CD
    Nice campag seat post

Rides very smoothly, very different to the track bikes.

Will probably be swapping out a few bits after christmas.

What a beauty. Few tweaks and you got yourself a lovely ride!

Cheers, i'm looking forward to giving it a proper ride.

  • Just finished this. A decent everyday ride. Just need to rig a front light on.

  • A new bike just for the track:

    NZ made Bauer

    Columbus SL tubing
Rear wheel: Campagnolo Record to Araya Aero 1 tubular
Front: Dura Ace to Araya Aero 1 tubular
    Hoshi bladed spokes
    Suntour Superbe cranks
Cinelli 1A stem/ Cinelli Pista drops
