Just feel cheap all over, poor imitation of jols product. Bought as a stop gap til my gurneys eventually arrive....
that's exactly why I ordered mine, I'm waiting on jol too, ah well they will do for now

So does that panasonic.
Horses for courses.Personally i'd choose a crashed panasonic over a shitly made carbon wheel glued to a generic rim and hub....
Less arguing, more pics:
Girlfriend bike mkII - HHSBarbieâ„¢
Not a fan of puppy killing frames, even cheap carbolite mixtes so shoot me if you will but what the lady wants the lady gets!
Armourtex ral 4007 - heather rose with sparkles aka lipgloss
Nos belleri porteur bars
Atax pegeuot stem
Lasco cranks
Formula on open sport
White randos
etc.
Still need to find a suitable basket/front rack and fit hammered honjos. Rides pretty nicely for a bike that doesn't even remotely fit me
Would it be puppy genocide to do that to this Bromwich?
;)

Just kill it, but just if you are sure that it fits the rider with the saddle in the right position. Why spending time, energy and money on a bike that doesn't fit well (and always looks poor) ?
I suggest (what I would do, but you can follow your own ideas) to change the colour scheme: mainly white with pink (or red) accents (tyres or rims, grips, saddle, decals, ...).
In future I will do the same with a mixte frame for my wife, but first I need a nice frame in the right size and a Selle Italia Lady saddle with roses design. -

Personally i think that looks almost ready to go. I wouldnt bother repainting it as the paintjob looks in pretty good nick, just replace the saddle, put some nice sweeping bars on it, remove those hideous lights, tidy up the cable routing and possibly replace the mudguards and your good to go (depending on condition of the wheels/cranks etc of course)

Yeah, that's kinda my thinking. Rear wheel is a 3 speed dyno-hub thingy, heavy as owt, so that'd get swapped out also, might be collectable and sellable with the lights?

Lots of tandems turning up on the forum at the mo. Maybe i've only just noticed since i got mine though.
Best purchase ever.
Tandem ride soon? -

I'd like to know a bit more about them before I start attacking that!
It's mtb, I think, haven't measured anything or put in wheels yet, quite fancy making it fixed whatever, cost and simplicity.

Mama mia, what rims are they Joe? Looks fookin' lush.
-

Joe, you could have made that into the perfect path bike it is crying out to become (much like skullys JRJ see below) rather than the circus bike that it is.
I'm disapointed but not surprised:-(

Circus bike?!? Pfff!!! It's a rad-dad's runabout, thank you very much...
The rims are my Jalco 27s, got some Campag Pistas waiting to be built onto old Mavic MA2 27s for the Mercian... Lushness...
Might get mudguards, not sure yet... I keep getting outbid on the ones I like... -

So is this.
Had my Carlton seen by a Carlton Expert : )
It's a FLYER MADISON... Fully Chromed, and hopefully will turn out to be like this:that carlton is lovely. i like the clearance at the back and the fact that it could even be closer to the seat tube if desired.
hope yours turns out similarly. -
