  • Fucking hell, can everyone please shut the fuck up! As if he should give a flying turd what any of us think! I think it's great- get it fixed if you like, get it painted (fingers crossed for Kawasaki green) and get some Panasonic stickers on there... job done, sexy NJS Panasonic frame. Otherwise you could ride it as is and probably get away with it. I look forward to seeing the result Nuknow.

  • Damn. Nuknow beat me to it

  • but aerospokes look good

  • that panasonic is dented! i can understand someone restoring a frame that you can buy for twenny quid or something, but that much! it's not even nice or rare! disgusting!

    meh!

  • but aerospokes look good

    omfg

  • but aerospokes look good

    Debatable, pal.

  • Debatable, pal.

and a broken multi coloured swap shop frame is? it's ok for you to like something but not a newbie?

  • omfg

is he wearing sunglasses because your frame is so ugly? love to carry on with this but i have customers coming in anjd we close in 3 mins!

  • and a broken multi coloured swap shop frame is? it's ok for you to like something but not a newbie?

What? It has nothing to do with 'newbies', it has to do with being a rude, arrogant, fool.

  • Mate, it's not broken. Eddie, e.g., is running a Nag way more dented than this P.... and he cares fuck all about what you and I think about that.
I tend to do the same, like you wanting matching aerospokes... AND I even had 2 already, go figure... Having said, please... spend more time reading for now, maybe...
You're taking things the wrong way, fool.

  • The Panasonic is a current project. And i think there's quite a few of us looking forward to the finished project.

  • So is this.
Had my Carlton seen by a Carlton Expert : )
It's a FLYER MADISON... Fully Chromed, and hopefully will turn out to be like this:

  • but aerospokes look good

    So does that panasonic.
    Horses for courses.

Personally i'd choose a crashed panasonic over a shitly made carbon wheel glued to a generic rim and hub....

    Less arguing, more pics:

    Girlfriend bike mkII - HHSBarbieâ„¢
Not a fan of puppy killing frames, even cheap carbolite mixtes so shoot me if you will but what the lady wants the lady gets!
Armourtex ral 4007 - heather rose with sparkles aka lipgloss
    Nos belleri porteur bars
    Atax pegeuot stem
    Lasco cranks
    Formula on open sport
    White randos
    etc.

Still need to find a suitable basket/front rack and fit hammered honjos. Rides pretty nicely for a bike that doesn't even remotely fit me

  • very nice, is it fixed or free?

  • very nice, is it fixed or free?

That's no way to talk about Edmundo's girlfriend.

  • you pig

  • Fixed/free
I took it for a spin on the fixed side last night to test it out after the (awful) zlda straps arrived.
Liz will probably ride it free for the time being at least although the comment 'It's just like spin class but in traffic' implies she'll be fixie skidding with the best of us soon enough.

  • I would never let my GF go free, imagine flip-flop.... tsst tsst

  • Almost there...

  • shweet!!

  • Thanks unky joe for rerailing the thread away from comments about Liz's reputation from these sex starved jokers.

Lovely bike for an old man with a bad back ;)

  • The hubs were a bit tricky. Basically Campag no longer make them, apart from the black Records or as part of pre-built wheelsets. The rear is a 2008 Centaur and the front a 2007 Veloce. The hubs for both these groupsets were exactly alike (neither hub even has a groupset name on it), apart from their equally ugly QR levers which I binned in favour of traditional Campag ones (2006 Chorus). To confuse matters further, the 'nuts' (not sure of their actual name) with the loopy bits are Record, cos I like them.

Such a rad build. I just love attention to detail like this.

Indeed! lookin good old man :)

ffs I got a pair of these on the way. Are they really that bad?

  • Shit quality velcro strips that don't hold very well, after some adjusting i managed to get the damn things to stay popped up(initially took about 200m to get my 2nd foot in). Maybe they just need breaking in a bit to get the shape right. The cordura used on the wide strap is off piss poor quality.
Just feel cheap all over, poor imitation of jols product. Bought as a stop gap til my gurneys eventually arrive and so Liz could try foot retention while still being able to ride in ridiculous shoes on kids pedals ;)
That said, the free stickers were nice.
