Very Nice - whats the stem?
-
• #19078
Stem: Favorit 7cm (from 1979, never used)
Nice lugs, very similar to those on the USSR frames that seem to be appearing quite often.

Here's my new Gazelle, built up this weekend.
Only given it a quick spin, but it seems to ride very nicely. Quick and responsive and a lot smoother than my old Fuji Track Pro.
List of parts:
Campag Pista Crank/Centaur bb
Record headset
Phil Wood Sprocket 18t
Sram Chain
Fuji wheels
Kalloy stem/seatpost/riser
Regal saddle
Soyo gripsStill to come are a pair of Nitto drops that I've ordered. I'd love to have some Cmpag hubs on there, but the budget isn't allowing me yet!
Going to Reading velodrome next week to test it on the track.
For some reason I can't get the crank bolts (covers) to do up flush with the arms beacuse the actual crank bolts are protruding too far. Hmm...

first of three current projects completed, and i think this one will probably be more popular than the other 2. a mate 'found' an old 80's raleigh in his loft. it had some pretty choice bits on though...vintage miche seatpost, original brown nubuck selle turbo saddle and cinelli stem and criterium bars. now an ss conversion on a budget as his commuter bike...looks pretty nice though, and sorry for shitty phone pics

that look lovely, actually can you weight that frame please? (on a kitchen weight scale if you have one), trying to determinded whether mine have the 531 tubing or not as it tipped the scale at 2200g (without fork), which probably mean it's a straight gauge 531 tubing.

• #19095
Sorry, Ed, no can do... I haz no scales... It's well light tho', at a guess maybe 1500g (with fork)... ;]

Nice to see Steve Goff is making a bit more effort on the headbadge these days. Mine just has an S sticker and a G sticker placed over each other. He makes lovely bikes, but he could do with some nice decals designing for him.
