Congrats on the new frame :)
I take it you're hosting them somewhere like photobucket?

Striking resemblance, just a coincidence.
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread6261-328.html#post980753BTW, your d/t decal is upside down.
Ha! Yes very similar, nice looking period Gazelle there. The decal is on that way because the frame's unique, just like its owner ;)

Dicki,
I do not know the seller personally, but I spot him many times on MP and elsewhere. I would think he is okay. His good 99.8% eBay rating does unveil somewhat.

Great purchase Dicki
I own a low pro myself. It is finised in Brussels blue. I plan to build it with c-Record. I used to own a 2nd slightly newer Gazelle Time Trial machine, but bummer I let it go at some point. I not even have a decent pic of it >>>
Lovely!!

mavic gruppo
2x carbon disc wheels
mavic pursuit bars

Horatio, it went to UK, to someone who also owns a Gazelle Jubile (100yr Gazelle anniversary frame). Happy it found a good home. The Jubile frame was also previously owned by me, but I were not a big fan of the pluriform graphics and the unique colour for each tube idea. Typical early 90s, but not my cup of tea. Jubile >>> on Jan's site

a friend of mine also sent me these pics, i actually found one of these which i thought was abandoned (it had tt bars, about 8 lights, and all kinds of weird shit to it, it was the strangest gazelle i ve ever seen) it was unlocked at a wierd deserted place, but there was also a some kind of party around the corner and i didnot want to take a bike that belonged to someone, i went back later that evening to see if it was still there but it wasnot :/

New to the forum but great to see all this discussion of Gazelles
I've had a Champion Mondiale for about 10 years - paid 25 quid for the frame/forks (531c) , resprayed and it's been a fantastic, tight, ss ever since. Out of interest mine has chrome forks and internally routed rear brake cabling - anyone know what kind of era? and I am also somehwat mystified by what constitutes an A or an AA frame - am presuming the AA is better?
Anyway, I think they're bloody great.

there are A's, AB's, AA's, Special AA's and Super AA's
I think they are in the right order or ascendancy Super AA's are the best, some are custom built, some have shorter rear triangles and on some of the Time Trial / Lo Pro's cut out seat stays in some cases for aerodynamic goodness.
Internal cable routing are found on the Special AA's and Super AA's
There is a good forum on bikeforums for gazelle.... fivenineclimber and kuda are very knowledgable about the brand and will date bikes ( if you provide the serial numbers ) and provide info on anything gazelle related very helpful guys
maybe we can make this forum the fount of all knowledge for gazelle related issues ! -

Thanks Dicki for the info - I might even try and post a pic here - as the opriginal paint job was a bit sketchy and I'm no purist I had it done by Vaz in a kind of lovely gunmetal - he does a good job. I've thought of getting other frames over the years but just can't quite part with a bike that has served me so well both here and in Canada. Plus I've a soft spot for that lowland thing above Italian fancies

the seller is indeed trustworthy, he organises a vintagebikejumble kind of thing each year in neerkant called 'stalen ros' (steel horse) i sold my 1940's trackframe to him, dont think you need to worry about not getting your bike :)
You bought the double disc one? ha! Rupert's going to be upset. I almost went for it as well. Nice one, Dicki.
