i'll take the wheelset, handlebars, disc brake and lever combo, to go please.
if you decide to sell, that is.
dibs in early as that would speed up thunderbird 2's build by like a month.
i still love that bike though, so keep it.
and stop showing off. -

i love this bike but i am struggling with money and space at the moment and want to build a vintage fixed tourer for l'eroica - pref something with dented tubes so i can restore it with S&S couplings for travelling on the plane... can't justify both!
:)

I really like this... the disc brake is about the only thing I'd change.

Google for Dave Hinde before you're tempted to part with any cash. Their lack of customer service and general obnoxiousness is legendary.

Alright when I dealt with them, but it as 6 years ago. Although poor customer service wouldn't please me I never mind a bit of obnoxiousness. In fact I could probably work there myself :-)

My first SS! I finished it and tidied up the kitchen before my girlfriend got home in a little under 3 hours
This was my back up bike, tyres and wheel don't match yet but I just needed it finished tonight as I sold my daily ride to help pay for my unfinished fixed project
I wanted to change the saddle to a stripy Turbo but I need a new seatpost first
I'm changing the forks to some chrome Tange ones, should look pretty good when I'm finished.. the only thing pissing me off is the rear brake holders, I do not want to butcher it as this is a proper classic

This is pure gold....
"*once "went in the shop ( staff incredibly rude ) asked for a Dura ace rear mech ...was told to "make do " with a 105 ...said i wanted a DA as rest of bike was...
Dave ( i know it was him from his TT days ) offered to sandpaper off teh 105 logo & write on dura-ace in black marker & said i wouldnt know the difference..
...i drove down to rourkes instead*
I take his(DH) point TBH. Hardly good service though.

Hasn't MrSmyth said similar things about Dura Ace?
Coincidence?

Hmmmm. I can see it now.
Suit: I have many thousands of your british pounds and would like a ill-fitting Cervelo please, kind sir.
MrSmyth(DH?): No, this cheap entry level bike fits you better. Now piss off, I'm on the phone, my bank manager is banging on about a failing business plan or something...
:)
i can only assume you mean:
Bicycle Education Encorporating Rehydration Studies...
or some such thing.
