I've never tried with coinage or plastic.

Blimey! Did you have both punctures? That's bad luck. (poor maintenance)
actually i had the second puncture. it was a bizarre incident / nature spot. in trying to avoid a Patagonian Skunk I unwittingly ran over a Mexican tree Porcupine...and pssssssssshhh (sound of air escaping tube) what were the odds? still that pretty much puts me right out there on the nature spot award

let's get this next one sorted. I'm not going to be there as i will be at the emirates but I can coordinate from TNRC central. Sam it looked like you were up for kent on the 22nd? what do you reckon?

Rumbled! I waited for fucking ages too.

If you want to do Kent as the next one, then fine by me, I can make it.
Take your pick as to which route, I'm not that fussed.
-
• #3085
I'm out cowboys. have fun.
-
• #3086
Sam, I suggest you pick the one that suits the Brompton
-
• #3087
I'd vote for the first Kent route, the one that starts from the delightful St Mary Cray.
-
• #3088
Sweet!
-
• #3089
It was still my plan, Claus...
Hope folks don't mind, but as a bit of 'near season-end fun', I thought I'd take my Brompton out for a spin on the Kent ride. It would probably be too tough on the second route though.
As a few people know the route, you wouldn't have to worry about waiting for me
shouldwhen I drop back, which will mainly be on the climbs and any draggy sections. If anyone's against this, say so now, or forever hold your peace.
