The waxed one looks amazing!

Yeah man, so good, I hope they're reasonably priced. Anyone for a game of guess the price? I reckon £40, perhaps more given that the current tweed caps are £35.

Humour me:
Rouleur '13' limited edition box set
13 issues of the £9.00 magazine/journal/whatever
Price: £250
What?!?
13 x £9 is £117
So you're paying £133 for that shitty box and the exclusivity of having the out of print first edition (which they probably have a crate of somewhere)?
Lord have mercy.

I got an email from Rapha just now directing me to this
http://www.rapha.cc/bomber-jacket/?cm_mmc=email-_-jackets-_-textlinkbottom-_-bomber%20jacket
It's nice but a little pricey. Any thoughts anyone?

Hi Mikec,
long time reader first time poster.i think that the jacket is quite nice i suppose, but i can't believe the price they are charging! are they having a laugh!!!???
you could easily buy a jacket for less than that, which wouldn't be quite as nice.
-
• #2145
mind you, that guy wearing it is using a mac laptop and eating a kebab. that's like me! i guess i'd better buy one then.
-

Thanks for the useful reply. I thought so too.
I could buy myself a nice stylish trench coat and have change left for a scarf or something equaly useful at that price -

price does seem high, but they are the cycling apparel equivalent of prada so its to be expected.
i love my black trenchcoat style jacket from top shop. dont know if they still make them. classically styled , looks just like a burberry style trench coat with storm collar tab just cut short.

It's exactly the same as their fixed jacket, which was black.
I have one and love it. It was exactly what I was after so I just bit the bullet and got one. Fuck it.
They say it's updated. That's nonsense, they just made it green.
It has lots of nice little details that I have found very useful, such as the small pocket with lanyard on the right cuff and the very large 'hidden' pocket in the chest. It's also very, very comfortable.
Yes, it's loads of money, but who else makes anything as nice? That's why they can charge outrageous prices; because they occupy a niche.
Recommended.

Rapha is well made but very safe and conservative. Prada are certainly not conservative!
Just had to point that out as I like a bit of Prada now and again, but their more restrained stuff :-)
Nice work Todd! Detail on the Barbour one is genius.
Personally I'm all over the grey wool one, in the words of the yoof "Will definitely cop fa sure"
