And please note, if the list says "RIDE CLOSED" at the top, it means we're not letting anyone else join unless a) you ride out, or b) you grab a slot that becomes vacant when someone pulls out. For safety/logistical reasons.

^safety first. actually, this is mainly about logistics. there's a fair few of us getting on at liverpool st and as it is we will have to be clever getting on the separate trains. please only join if someone is pulling out or you are joining the ride out. trying to avoid disappointment.
looking forward to this. i guess i will keep with tradition and bring the fixed transmission.

Would like to add me and a chum on the 'lacticulating pain mission' ride out if we can get out of work on time...what time is that meeting and where?
Please don't say UTFS ;)
Not sure where the meet is Jung no-one has mentioned it so far, I will be cutting it close time wise as am unsure what time I will be leaving Birmingham tomorrow and will be leaving from home (Sidcup) and not work. I plan to hit Tower Bridge around 6pm ish (but this will be fluid) as cannot find out if the Greenwich foot tunnel is open or closed at the mo, does anyone know?

Am looking like a no goa as am not able to shake an illness which is leaving me lethargic and certainly not up to the 'honest' standard of the TNRC

luvely idea!!
no fosters please!!!!!
can give money afterLose a Tricity... shame.
but, gain a Mashton... be good to have you along Matt.Just a quick word as to ahem Tika's idea for stashing a beer for afters...
Reckon it should be down to the crew that get to Ingate first to head to the Somerfield and buy 24 tinnies. Everyone can chip in a quid for one at the end. S'long as they're cold at the time of purchase, I reckon anything will be better than nowt at the end of this Essex gem. Anyone that reckons otherwise... now's the time. -

red wine, beer, and now bubbles ....this ride is going to be one of the best.
-
• #2967
@ catman - thanks for the word up. been away for the weekend so will get a good look at your info and change the route. this is small fry for the TNRC as problems go ;)
will we be seeing you out there?Unlikely, I'm all out of proper lights - waiting on wiggle for a delivery.
No moonlight + silly little flashing commuter light + over 20 mph = bad idea.
Enjoy the ride!
-
• #2968
the booze situation - the ingatestone crew could ride to the shops on the high street and sort it out . we would then ride out of the village and dump it in a hedge row( obviously they might end up buying beer for everyone and not getting reimbursed etc) if they decide to do this then stay at the shops and i will lead the shenfield crew to you...
.....or.......get your cans early doors ( each man takes care of himself before getting anywhere near liv street) and bring them to ingatestone where we will find a suitable hedge row to hide them in until we return.(sounds so much easier logistially)
me? i'll be on my usual salty jungle juice. you heineken fucks can ride elsewhere

Put a request up to borrow a good light here and you may get a response.
there will be good moonlight for sure and we won't be toasting 20mph as we want to stay in a group.

what you forgot to add the rascist jibe at the end....walked away from the computer and thought ah screw that !
as i said - just bloody buy me beer! -

I don't think I'm doing red wine after all. I'll be having some on Thursday, and I've got to avoid too much of it this week, as it has the cumulative effect of making me sluggish.
Maybe a bottle of mild for post-ride glycogen replacement. [/live a little]
Oh yeah - I'm happy to be the lanterne rouge en route this week.

Those riding out - make sure you have our phone numbers just in case you run late.
purple - make sure you leave yourself enough time to ride out ( or jump on one of the trains) just don't get caught riding out but arriving way too late for us to hang on for you.
-
• #2975
i will be one of the first to arrive at ingatestone i guess. and dependent on mood will do the supermarket run. but i might not feel like it. and i might feel surely everyone has time to pick up a couple of tins if they so desire. like clintsmoker says, we can roll out of ingatestone and stash in a hedge for a pick-up a couple of hours later.
boozing huh. whatever happened to just making a note of the engine number in our little books, and maybe putting the train ticket in our scrap books. what is happening to the Tuesday Night Rail Club...
