nope, your stem is 80mm, not 90mm, you measure it wrong!
netherless it'll be useful for a bullhorn bar for the pursuit frame.
shit :S sorry . . . -

Ages ago I rode a 100mm stem for about 4 months thinking it was a 90mm as the seller measured it wrong... pretty funny when I realised it was 100mm. I was actually rather pleased.

I have bought this Gipiemme disc wheel...
...for my harrison tt bike...
...and have some new pedals/cassette on it.I live in flat, flat Suffolk at the moment, so It's going to be single-speeded with a white industries eno freewheel on the disc, and a few other little plans. Will update when it's all built up.
While I'm here; does anyone know where I can pick up a deep section 24 inch (25-520) rim for the front?
Thanks

I guess this counts as a project... it's certainly a work in progress..........
I love it. What forks are those?
I'm worrying though that Platini will correct me on proper usage of singular versus plural tenses.

I've just ordered a drive train that has prime numbers for the chainring and sprocket. On one hand I feel that this will make for the most even wear on the drive train that is possible... on the other hand it's incredibly nerdy and I need help.
I've also built a Rohloff gear inch calculator for those seeking to find the optimal direct drive gear and see the range of gears that would result from using that.
I'm spending almost more time playing with numbers than I am with bike parts.

47 x 17 = 74.6 GI. A lovely number.

47x17 was my first guess but than I thought you might be putting something easier on your all-conquering Robin Mather tourcross bike. Damn.

47 x 19?
EDIT - too slow!
That's a nice ratio.. mmm.... ratio.

scott free had it right, they are Kona Project 2 700c disc only forks. They look nice, are the right length for a 'cross or road bike, but are stiff as anything and can beat you up on longer rides.

47x17 was what I had in mind originally for my build, but switched to an 18 on the back because I am a pansy.
That is all.

I'm not sure what I like more - your bike or your enthusiasm for the apostrophe.
It shows that Rich works as an editor.

My work-in-progress beater - a late 60s/early 70s Claud Butler Olympic:
The Cooks cranks are only on there so that I could build it up and have a ride. I'll be replacing anything that's shiny or vaguely nice looking with a dull and preferably rusty equivalent, and I'll be adding mudguards, a rack and maybe some of those massive EverReady lights from the 80's to make it as unattractive and unobtrusive as possible when its locked up in town/at the station.
Will probably still get nicked, though. Fans of delicious irony should no doubt keep an eye on the 'stolen bikes' thread over the coming months.

Yeah, just looking out to get fixed parts for it on the cheap.
Surely with your popularity and awesome post count on here a whipround for cheap/free parts could easily be arranged? Might not be pretty but i'm sure it'll do the job.
Bring on the LdnGrrl parts list:
- Rear wheel with miche single fixed hub, requires 3 spokes replacing, black v(not velocity) rim. Yours for a hi5 and a blue wkd ;)
Maybe some tyres and other free junk if i bother to look around the house

only 2 scratches occured whilst in my possesion, unfortunately they are the worst of them all
