build it and ride it first before deciding on the colour scheme.

Yeah, just looking out to get fixed parts for it on the cheap.

yeah great bike
What pedals are these, I'm a bit stuck for them on my Moser, similar build.

it looks totally fine. find parts, build it, ride it. sod a colour scheme (worry about that later, then you can spend more...so satifying...)

Heh, true. Well then, that was a silly post I made!
Thanks though heh

This is a frame I'd like to make a fixed bike out of.
But it has way too many scratches on it, I was wondering if you lot think I should strip it back to the frame itself or...? - Is it worth doing so?I dunno, I don't want to leave it the way it is. The white stuff has come off.
I really don't see the point in stripping it. Learn how to ride it first and then start tarting it up if you must. There's no point in making it look all pretty if you're just starting to learn how to ride on the mean streets of London.

True, I was using the geared one as a "beater" but maybe it makes more sense to have them both as beaters but one fixed.

Even more reason then. Riding fixed isn't rocket surgery but it is different and there are other mistakes to make/learn from on the road. I hope your learning experience doesn't involve any falls/scrapes but it would be silly to do anything to a bike other than ride it whilst you're still learning. [/preach]

But it has way too many scratches on it...don't be silly, the scratches you have is nothing compare to mine, it's enough to make 50/14's weep blood.
it look like Hippy been chewing on the top tube and spat it out.

^ Hippy would never be wasteful like that.
