  • no spin is a bit of a risk imho. it's going to be an exciting game whatever the result

Not at the minute 39-3! Sounds like the game could be decided today! We need a bowling performance from our whole line-up whatever, especially Broad this time.

  • good start from the Aussies, even Johnson is getting it on line! cracking bouncer to get rid of Bell, just chased his gloves :)

what the fuck was Bopara thinking?

  • England Fail FFS!!!

  • even Johnson is getting it on line!

    who?

  • what the fuck was Bopara thinking?

About what he's gonna be doing this winter instead of touring with England.

  • this time round even if we fail (ie fail to make a score above 275-300) in this first innings our bowlers still have the ability to do the same thing to australia. it's whats made the series interesting

  • Agree, Mr S. I hope this'll be another cracker.

    Oh fuck - 4 down.

  • FOUR down, get the physio warmed up, and order in a gross of batting gloves, England are going to need them again

  • I was really hoping Bell(end) would prove the doubters wrong today... grrr.

Still, we do have Grevious Bodily Harm-ison to come...

We struggling to make 100 at the minute! 150 is probably an optimistic score for us now.

The trouble is they have an all seam attack, who all look dangerous and who are all fighting for their place in the next test. We have Stuart Broad who's looked completely flat and are relying on a bowler who hasn't played a Test for a year?

  • what's surprising me the most is that Cook is the one holding onto his wicket! Hasn't really done a thing with the bat all series

Our trouble is our middle order comprises one batsman who is clearly not a test player (Bopara), one who has talent but not temperament or application (Bell), and Collingwood.

  • hippy?

  • HIPPY!?....looks like he's buggered off

Bopara reminds me of Ramprakash or someone, he's undoubtedly a good player, but does have the bottle to play against the best test sides. The same comparison with Cook really. Bell as well, technically he's the best batsman in our side, no bloody mental fortitude though. Actually, do we even have a middle-order to speak of? Our lower order starts at Prior.

    Cook gone, fuckery.

  • i hope we get to 100!

  • One things for certain, we'll be bowling today. That session will decide the game.

  • i'm really wishing i'd bothered to pay for Sky Sports.

  • 5

  • fark, mist the silly bunt

  • hippy?
