his bike will probably not be track legal.
that's not part of the question.
extra marks for anyone who shows the formula they used, and double extra marks if they have a go at working it exactly , taking into account the black line (datum) and the blue line (stayer) difference in distance.

I overtook Tricity Bendix the other week.
Presumably she then caught you, overtook you and then put you in the gutter for the bare faced temerity?

I think you;re all missing the point...
anyone else got some personal triumphs?

nah, if you strip as quick as you ride I'm not gonna get much for my money. I do the same distance in 20 so it's good going, I blame the traffic

Come on, be realistic, you are gonna drop 10-20% over your second 5. That's a massive 18 minutes, so only just matching brad wiggins PB and record.
No way - it's all about negative splits for TTing. Slag would've ridden the second half faster, and probably done a short 15, or possibly even a long 14.

I arrived at my office yesterday.. now that's quick!*
*of course I also left for the office yesterday so that kinda ruins the time travel aspect a little.

I did 200 metres in less than 11 seconds* last weekend.
*ok, it was on a derny, but they do have pedals!

Well I was pretty happy with my 12.4s 200m on a tiny 83.4GI. That's an average speed of 36mph, probably topping 38.5mph on 83.4GI on an outdoor velo.
[Lets not mention the leadout :-) ]

So that's 15m20 pace for a 10. You should be winning everything at international elite level.
if by international you mean small african countries who don't have bikes yet.. then yes i agree

I drove X distance in a car in under X time on a public highway. Impressive, huh?
pukes on irresponsibity and mediocrity of it all

who's good at maths?
here's a question:
Hauska brings his bike to the Herne Hill track and copies his ride (21mph for 11k), 11k is about 24 laps of the track, if the resting bunch are going around on the blue line at 24mph, how many laps before they overtake him?
#1 miles = 1.609344 KM
Hauska goes at 34 KMph OR 0.57 Km per minute
Rob goes at 38.6 KMph OR 0.64 Km per minuteHauska
1km takes 105 seconds
1 lap takes 47.6 secondsRob
1km takes 93 seconds
1 lap takes 42 secondsRob gains 5.6 seconds no each lap so will over take halfway through the 9th lap (8.5)
Aha ha ha.
