*I've got one of these : *http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=30435
really comfortable, light and SUPER well ventilated.if its a bit too pricey - go for the monza. But try em on - I just rocked straight into Rathbone Place Evans, put a whole bunch on my head and went home to order mine (something I felt no guilt about as I was COMPLETELY ignored by all the staff)

I am having some crapy helmet that really anoys me with poor airflow and not very comfy fit.
Could you please let me know your good experiences with helmets and recommend me something acceptably good in a budget price range?

Sounds good. do you know which model is the one that you have. My head is prety long but quite narrow and that's probably why most helmets that i tried had a lot of space on sides but were ot tight at front and back :-)

go to a large bicycle shop, browse their selection, try them out and see which is more comfortable.
alternatively check out the SJS website too for helmet selection.

Hello i'm a serial lurker who's now joined. I recently bought a Giro Hex from CRC for £38 and I a most impressed with it. I use it for commuting and offroad shenanigans. The adjustable peak is a big + for me and the airflow is rather good to.
