And I should reply to you on that thread, but I'm lazy. I left the memory card from my camera in NYC, so someday I will have pictures. It'll be like a present you didn't expect.

Skully & Picco at Whitecross & Banner (weird affectation). Enjoyed the chat. Tubing, nocturnal pace, and guilty sobriety are a weird mix ;)

I was sitting in a bar on Old St this evening and I reckon 80% of the bikes that went past were fixed wheel. I don't know how this thread functions with this kind of fgss saturation.
My friend kept checking what I was looking at, as if every time I looked out the window it was someone we both knew...

it's funny to spot people you know off here, but posting things like "saw a guy on a fixie in london, anyone here?" is a waste of bandwidth not to mention fucking lame.

spotting someone you don't know and exclaiming it on here is funny when the person you've spotted happens to be on the forum and isn't who you expected them to be.
rare but funny.

Fruitbat, about 10:20 trying and failing to get both feet on the pedals of his bike before giving up and using it as a crutch to stagger home.

Two or three different high power road motorcyclists revving loudly to intimidate cyclists on different occasions. They speed to the next set of lights and then impotently sit there as all the cyclists RLJ...

spotted a curryer this am on a brakeless black surly with risers, rocking clippless pedals and trainers, no straps, clips. nothing. speedily undertook me on the highbury/islington roundabout and left me rather dumfounded as he raced off in the distance weaving, dodging cars and skid stopping with deft accuracy. Whoever you are mate - full respect, you know yr shit. an amazing display of riding proficiency.
