so should have done...benefit of hindsight.

You can report them with no need of witness or conflict under the usual section 11 of road traffic act. But as Police Staff i'm sure there would be other complications for them.

I have respect for the Police, and wouldn't do it unless they were seriously endangering safety of other road users. But Community Supprt are useless, waste of money. I know they're just doing there jobs etc. But if you sign up for a job like that you're either playing the system or a fucking idiot as far as I'm concerned.

Plus I can't STAND the noise of their little scooters.

Would have said hello, but a) you turned off immediately and b) i was trying to work out if i could make it home before my tyre went completely flat.

Think I met this chap at the last critical mass, I said hello as his bike had a similar look to mine (when I used to ride white tyres) but with a slightly more exquisite choice of frame. He was very pleasant.

NOT spotted. police staking out the junction of upper street and essex road. d'oh. saw them there on monday, remembered to check for them yesterday but forgot today. even though i stopped, waited, checked there was no-one coming, waited some more and then when the way was still clear, set off; they pulled me over anyway and did the whole "it's for your own safety - i don't want to have to scrape you off the road" thing. i took it like a sullen schoolboy and didn't say anything. so embarassing.
