or colnago was just terribly inconsistent with their numbering.

What frame is it? All the master's have the number stamped on the track ends. 99% sure the mexico was stamped there too.

it's Balki's colnago. my master olympic has the stamps, but anything earlier than 1983 seems to be inconsistently numbered.

Too much for me, but if somebody fancies spunking silly money on a 15 year old Klein frame whose only redeeming features are the bright paintjob and the Hope disc brake setup, then be my guest.
