Yeah, No.1 was in Borough Green, which is incidentially quite close to Exedown Hill. No.2 was about 8 miles down the road, just after my house. I forget the rest after that...

I've got to do a slight change of plan. I am visiting a client first thing Wednesday and need to take stuff with me. There's no way I'm lumping it round the North Downs (especially after doing 75 miles round south Kent today), so I'm leaving work an hour early, catching the train home, then one back to St Mary Cray.
Basically, I'll meet you there.
Sorry to amend plans (slightly), but it does mean one less person/bike on the 19:09!!
Is there anyone sensible enough to make sure people catch the train outta Victoria Ok? Thought not...
-
• #665
we're all sensible enough sammy boy. see you there dude!
-
• #666
Nice one, Tim. Remember the train seems to arrive on it's inward journey at about quarter to seven, so the earlier people can get there, the better.
If you try to go through the gates to the train before 7pm the station guard might question you, obviously just say that you're all getting the 19:07.
I'll be loitering somewhere up the top of the stairs.
-
• #667
I'll meet everyone at St Mary Cray station. The aim is to be there for 1935 right?
I probably ride over as it's only 8 miles or so from home.

Looks like my brief dalliance with real riding has come to an end for now. Double booked myself, so I'm out. Sorry guys.

Had a bad run in with a car earlier and will be without bike until I can get a new frame :-(
Might have something to do with the number I had on this list.

Shit! Hope you are Ok man.

Hope you get out on the road again soon on your new Dolan or Cannondale or whatever, STE5.
There's now more room on the train. I'm riding out with andyp.
Fancy more miles, and with wanting to sound melodramatic, the last time I travelled from here to Victoria was 3 months ago. I arrived with my 16-year-old cat, but departed without him :*(
But hey, this rides going to fucking rock :D

I'm healing, nothing too bad.
Have a good ride guys.

I plan to leave work sharp at 6:00 this evening or just before, then ride to St Mary Cray as I can drop my work bag off at home on the way, top up the water bottle and carry on to SMC for 7:30.
Looking forward to catching up with you all, probably have a little chat going up Exedown... -

I got stuck in Brighton overnight so I'm going to have to work late this evening. Hopefully next time...

cheers trnk, see you out there in the future no doubt.
looking forward to this one - looks like another swell evening.
ha!
That ford is around a foot deep, obviously more if it's been raining. I egged some kids on MTBs to ride through it when I rode the route a couple of weeks back. Didn't hang around to see if they did it though.
