put the groupset on mate, always stick to your original plan! I'll look even better when you're done with it.

Work in progress for the girlfriends birthday present.
bars need shortening plus a few obvious parts required.
note to everyone check frame for dents after picking up from Armourtex, it was wrapped in bubble wrap and i missed a big ding in the top tube - highly annoying, but i doubt they will do anything about it if i complain....

Kingcutter, looking nice but the black spokes on silver hubs and rims look odd?! Change the saddle too......all IMO of course :-)

QR lever should be non drive side.
That's just the the way it is. Don't argue, don't ask questions!

The wheels are off my modern Bianchi as is the saddle I may change the rims for mavics in the future,thought it may be nice to have some Bianchi on there,hard to know how to keep things original,it had 105 on I thought it may have had a campy group,I was going to put some Veloce on but it looked cheap,and I already had the dura ace,I have found some rare dura ace downtube converters so i can use sti instead of downtube shift.

here's an idea kingcutter, why don't you keep the bianchi as a proper restoration project? i.e. take your time in building it (thus a lots cheaper by carefully sourcing and buying certain part).
here's your inspiration;

^ that is very nice Ed, good site

that's really cool Ed..
I've got a very similar vintage bianchi that has quite a few original parts but could do with some fine tuning in terms of it's period-ness.. That stem and those bars would suit mine perfectly..
@Kingcutter - what size seatpost do you need for yours?

He'll end up selling it anyway.
I'd love to see it in the flesh and compare the colouring to mine which I think is 70s..
