that's really cool Ed..
I've got a very similar vintage bianchi that has quite a few original parts but could do with some fine tuning in terms of it's period-ness.. That stem and those bars would suit mine perfectly..
@Kingcutter - what size seatpost do you need for yours?
27.2 the one in the picture is a dura ace but i think it may be to short.

here's an idea kingcutter, why don't you keep the bianchi as a proper restoration project? i.e. take your time in building it (thus a lots cheaper by carefully sourcing and buying certain part).
here's your inspiration;

That is just fantastic don't think i could ever get there although i do have a vintage super record crank.

you don't need to go as far as he did, just try and find component that'll look just right on the bike regardless.

The Bianchi is starting to take shape after a very expencive paint job I have a full dura ace group for it but i think it looks quite nice plain and simple.
Careful, I can see what looks like Griff Rhys Jones eyeing your bike up.

Because I respect the opinion of this forum so much.. (chokes back hysterical laughter) I bought another of the most hated bikes..
This makes 9 bikes in our studio flat. It's Mal's. It's even called the Langster 'Polish'.
I thought it might be Polish colours but it looks like those cheap bastards at Specialized have left the colouring to the buyer.. oh well.. -

hippo - sell the bloody TI raleigh track already! (PM him, it's for real yo)
...and the soma!
... and your spare FSA carbon cranks!
... and the GT!
You get 'bes' prise' in summer.
Well done for fitting 9 bikes in your flat - that is a commendable effort!
Mal - what a trooper for putting up with it. -

I do wanna sell some shit but I rapidly tire of tight gits making piss-taking offers and I'm too lazy to put stuff on ebay.. so everything accumulates since I don't need to sell it.
Anyway, 55cm Soma FS and the other shit Prav said FS :)

I thought it might be Polish colours but it looks like those cheap bastards at Specialized have left the colouring to the buyer.. oh well..Was your real intention for the polish model because you made the assumption it came with a free six pack of the WARKA "STRONG"?

Whats the black stuff on the seat-tube?
Oh and did you manage to hacksaw off a tooth on your chainring to gear down? -

Steerer fail
Silver nipple fail
Brake colour co-ordination faili agree with all your points, but can justify most of em.
steerer is yet to be cut down, wanted to ride a few times to be sure on the length.
silver nipples do sux, i did specify for them to be black but when i picked em up the wheel builder used silver...bit of a fucker.
and as for the rear brake, it requires a really short reach and it was the only one workable i have...will be resolved.
but thanks for the positive points cunt
