I don't even like chrome and that's still lovely. I'd have been tempted to go for a silver rather than black groupset, but it's gorgeous nonetheless.

Anyone know anything about Hetchins frames? My old man picked up something that looks very much like a magnum opus. Looks like phase 1 lugs, but no mention of Tottenham or Southend on the badge....just Hetchins Cycles England. Also no magnum opus on the toptube. It's blue with fairground script Hetchins logos and curly stays, Period campag hubs (with wingnuts) and weinman rims.
Looks maybe too big for me, but may attempt a geared resto anyway. Will try and take some photos next time I go over and see him.
Also just grabbed a Raleigh Royal 531 to build up for me as a good distance fixed, just need cranks / bars / wheels to get done....any 27inchers kicking about onsite?

Mr Postman just delivered these handsome chappies! They are clearly wasted on me and I'll never do them any justice but you're only 25 once and I'd like to think they're an investment. Beautiful. :D
oooh la la, those are well fit.

Just bought this frame/fork, cranks, seatpost/saddle etc. Wacked on some wheels from another bike, as well as handlebar and stem from my Mercian (which will soon be changed). Gonna build a new rear wheel with fixed/fixed hub, and then use this for commuting and tricks.those wheels are great for OTP, but that colour is ridiculous, and its a couple quid more than the black/white ones

So, what's your point?
I bought them ages ago for my first fixed road conversion puppy killer, before i knew about this forum or even what a hipster was. I would probably prefer them to be in a different colour now (at the time i thought they were fucking awesome), but what do you want me to do? They are decent enough wheels, especially for this type of bike, and for the intended puposes for the bike. I also actally think they look alright on this build. The main problem with them is that i think they attract to much attention from bike thieves. So i worry about locking it up around London.
Sounds to me like ur hating a bit Crane. Back the fuck up mother fucker! ;) -

I missed out on the last frame because I am crap at the whole online auction thing. But thanks for the advice. Now another question...does anyone know what this bike might be?

Loving this too. What rims are they? I was thinking about some low-profile rims for the Royce hubs but these aero ones are lovely.
Are those Campy cranks too?
Finished.
Nice Sweens
