  • tried to think of a good film he's in the other day. couldn't.
'Six Degrees of Separation' is not too bad

  • Sideways (wanky boomer film about wine)

Sideways is a wicked film, very funny

  • Usually don't like Carrey but I have to admit I enjoyed eternal sunshine of the spotless mind ...

  • Sandra Bullock, another one that always play the same carracter

  • i liked the matrix. i liked the idea. once had a big "what-if" discussion with some mates years ago and the matrix concept was one we talked about. aliens, computers, etc. we were bit freaked out when this movie came out. anyway, liked the series but bit disappointed when it all went 'christian' in the last two.

i like 'lost in translation'. i think murray's character was more ignorant/selfish than racist. arrogant american actor in a foreign country...seriously, what do you expect? and you think the japanese arent racist??? no real plot in the movie, but i sometimes like those kind of films.

    Totally agree about both.

I don't understand matrix bashers. Most of them only see the film in one dimension: fast action. Even if the script is hollywood, the underlying message is still a very interesting one..

Lost in Translation and all films that are a slice of life are awesome! It also introduced me to the wonders of MBV-Loveless :D

  • I actually like Jim Carrey but I can see how people think he's a tit.

Orlando Bloom's a cunt. He was in my mates shop a few years ago, my mate was serving him. Seemed alright, friendly enough, chatting away etc then when he got to the counter and rung it all up(came to about £2k) he asked if he could have it for free - yes FOR FREE!?
My mate said no but he'll give him 20% then he started giving him some shite about 'it'll give you great exposure cos I'm Orlando Bloom'!
May mate still said no and he got the hump and refused to pay so his then Mrs, Kate Bosworth paid up. Tit!

  • John Malkovitch and Kevin Spacey shit me to tears.

    There. I've said it.

  • Lord Of The Rings. That scared me off going to the cinema again for 3 years. I have a hard enough time sitting still for an hour and a half but after sitting through three and half hours or whatever, I was close to tears and in severe physical discomfort. A wretched film

Did you (like me) only see the first one?

I had a similar trauma, only that mine lasted for about six years.

  • The Punisher, after Transporter 2...the worst 2 films ever made

  • Did you (like me) only see the first one?

I think I have only seen the first one. I may have seen bits of the second and or third. These films all blend into one for me and I find it hard to tell them apart, dull as they are. I have never attempted to sit through another one in one sitting though, and I never will.

    Agreed...
Eternal... and Truman Show - not bad

Sideways... i like @Dooks "chewing gum?" brilliant

Will Smith ? Talentless knob who plays the H/Wood game very well.

Tom Cruise... when he takes the piss out of himself (Magnolia, Tropic)... he's watchable...just
    Otherwise...Utter, Narcissistic Bell-end!

    Knightley ? Bloom ?
gimme a break... Talentless SHITE !!

    Matrix 2 and 3 dismal - @Mike C - keep avoiding

Lost In Translation... meh... i liked - and i'd heard the whole racism line before. That's just Murray's character. Although the over-use of height gags (lift scene and shower scene) is abit slack. But let's face it... It's very much a visual piece.

@ Philjay... MBV - Loveless - well done for seeking it out. 91 was a great year. That and Screamadelica - Oof... heady days

In Bruges... heard nothing but good things... Really wanna see.

  • 9 Songs. You would have thought the most sexualy explicit film to appire in the cinimas would be worth a watch. Its not. Yes there is lots of graphic sex wich is all good with me, but there is no story, the 9 Songs are all average Bands at Brixton Accadamy and you may as well just watch a good porno. What could have been a good film was just far too up its own arse.

  • Don't watch The Reader. It is a weak, rip-off, Oscar ploy (sadly that will probably be successful) which tries to be too many things and in doing so fails to be anything at all.

  • The Punisher, after Transporter 2...the worst 2 films ever made

    +1

Having seen the transporter and being shocked at quite how bad that was I am still amazed that they managed to make 2 more bastard films

Dude Where's my car is my all time worst film

My mate's the main character in that film. Split with his real life Mrs cos of it too

  • Fair play for having sex on film and all that but I still thought it was shite. What did you think?

  • Never seen it

  • I is a bit strange that I have now seen your mates dick. Probably why you dont want to watch it.

  • The Punisher, after Transporter 2...the worst 2 films ever made

You have obviously not seen ultraviolet. Me and my mate saw it thinking it be a bit of sillyness with swords and guns with some eye candy in the form of Milla Jovovich.

Me and my mate walked out (luckily my sister works in the cinema and gets us free tickets) after 7 minutes...

  • My mate's the main character in that film. Split with his real life Mrs cos of it too

    You're mates with Gruey!?

  • Ha, yeah! Gruey Tuey! Kieran in real life

  • Seen plenty of boring, mediocre films that are a crying waste of n-million dollars. But the 3 worst films in the world:

Cabin Fever. Total, utter shite. The DVD extra is the guy's previous "film", which is a stop-motion animated story about some vegetables that's seemingly made by twelve year olds - and that's better than the film itself. It's not funny; it's not scary; it's like having a stoned frat boy tell you at length about his inane dream.

Magnolia. You wait for hours - hours! - for the grand finale that the director explicitly promises at the beginning of the film, but oh, he's forgotten it, so it just rains frogs instead. I've actually spoilt it for you now, but you should thank me. Pretentious shite covered in 5-star reviews from critics that didn't understand it and played it safe.

Sin City. For some reason this is a controversial choice, because lots of morons like it and, admittedly, it looks really good. But it's actually the most pathetic film in the world, with the worst dialogue. And I normally like the overblown Tarantino-style stuff... it's just that Robert Rodriquez is so fucking hamfisted at it (see also, Once Upon a Time in Mexico.) Misogynistic for the sake of it and disgusting for the sake of it. The only film I have ever considered walking out of. If you like it, you should be anally raped by Dashiell Hammett's ghost.

  • +1 sin city is shit.

Also, I really loved Hellboy 1 but was dissapointed by hellboy 2.

Was lazy and failed to continue the plot from the first one.

  • Cabin Fever is fucking Dire!

Knocked up is shit, i said it once and will say it again becuase it deserves it.

Slumdog Millionaire.. another winnit from the arse of some smug cunt, dressed up to be the golden egg. its only saving grace is the cinematography. if it wasn't so hyped it wouldn't be such a let down

  • Myers and Segal should never be in any more films

You keep bringin up Segal and i'll get OnOneLangster; the forums very own hood to come roundhouse you
