what does he mean 'replica', ie replica frame, fake D-A?
replica means
to purchase one or several stickers of a certain brand (commonly purchased from ebay) and lay them with the sticky side onto a frame of a different brand to the sticker in order to replicate that certain brand.:) i read a lot of dictionaries in my spare time
basically he got some colnago stickers and slapped them onto a white frame, end of story

Hold your horses everyone...it isn't a colnago. I spoke to the guy and he is totally straight up, but it is an Orbit, 531c, nice enough, (I have one) but a Colnago it ain't. And vert drop outs. Move along.

they are rare and really nice frames, but hilary stone is a cunt and knows it will go for good money. probably (conned) bought it off some old dude for £50

The Ephgrave and Hetchins Hilary Stone is selling were both at the Herne Hill Jumble.
I got there at 9am. He probably arrived around 7:30, or camped overnight.
When he left, his Mercedes estate was stuffed with old and collectable frames which probably cost £25 apiece.

Sellers take care of good and familiar customers.

when i was at manchester jumble with roberto he got in early to set up his stall and bought everything that caught his eye...literally everything. it's a very different mentality when you are buying for resale. even the junk sold for a considerable profit.

After owning an orbit, they are trully awesome bikes. Probably nowhere as good as the colnago though.

nah it's definitely a carbon fork, got it with the frame, it's a bontrager touring fork if i'm not mistaken.
also, it's not a unipack, haha. much more laid back geometry and builds up alright, but not to my taste.
see this: http://www.cyclingcloseouts.com/ebaypics/ns/blog/red_white.JPGdon't even know why i'm posting this at all really, not trying to hijack, just trying to prove it's not a unipack!

So what was roberto doing there?
I agree the frame doesn't look worth it, but it was built up with super record so must be above average quality...?
Overpricedish.
