quite often especially at antique fairs and clearly bike jumbles it pays dividends to slip a seller a 'red note' to let you go in with them or have a stall yourself. maybe the next bike jumble there should be a lfgss stall with twenty helpers all going in 2 hours before the official opening time. it might cost all concerned 5 pounds each that including the hiring of a van if you really wanted to take something to sell there. just an idea. -

just an idea.
I'm in, we used to do a similar thing at conventional jumbles for nabbing good vinyl.

i have only seen a couple of adam hill cycles being sold. i was going to write that the price would reflect somebody having the free wedge and being impatient but then in reality it could be considered cheap for a restored handbuilt british frame. i'd rather pay 400 than 1100.00 even though i like barry and ernie

these look like Triomphe, but to my knowledge they were only double cranksets? i messaged the seller who replyed: It came off a track bike - there are no lips for a second ring.Thats all I can tell you.
can anyone shed light?
