I've got the funkiest mudguard on the Ribble. It's just a straight strip of aluminium with blue reflective right along it. None of this shitty curving around the tyre or pissfarting about with raceblades. Came with the Ribble, never seen them before. Someone in the club reckons they're hard to find. Don't have photo :(
Commuter doesn't have anything since there's a shower at each end of the ride. I have one of those rat tail things somewhere that are good for keeping bag/arse dry but nothing else. -

I see two guys on my commute, going the other way, on the more streamlined version of these. They're very brave in my opinion!

These one's work for me, and don't spoil the line of the bike too much.
Also don't need mud guard eyes, and don't go through the brake caliper. (Not that that would be a problem for some of you!!)

Wiggle do raceblades for £27.99 at the mo and if you can find a discount code your quids in. I used a fiver off code when I purchased mine.

this will cost you nothing more than 10 mins of your time, 1 2l plastic bottle, duct tape, and about 2 foot of measuring tape.
it doen't rattle, doesn't need resecuring.

I did that before I got the raceblades, didn't really cut it. Still got a wet arse and bag, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
-
• #171
as long as you make it wide enough to fill the gap between the chainstays and use the curve of the bottle the right way round it's brilliant.
horses courses etc

Fair enough, mine prob wasn't wide enough but I was always gonna get me the blades for the racer and I got full guards for the fixed.
