Very relaxed geometry - hobbits suffer toe overlap acutely.

  • Dou you think they get hobbit Roadies? Do you reckon they shave their feet? I bet the Elves use EPO!

    They're magic.

  • Halfords cheap set, one downtube one that elastics on, rear is screw on but the angle adjusters are thumb screws and you can just leave a tiny mount on the bike. 15 quid i think.

A lot say that sks raceblades are a bit wobbly - the wire stays are a bit flexy, so you need to leave plenty of clearance around the tyre.

If you have a road or track frame with no eyes for bolts, you ould use 'P Clips' which are bolted-on bands that go around your seat stays/forks and allow you to use proper full length guards... use some gaffer or rubber under the clips to protect your paintwork if you care about that sort of thing.

    I'm Skully. I am a mudguardaholic.

  • Get some Salmon Super Profil... super narrow (25c max), flat brushed aluminium. Not sure how you'd fit them without muguard eyes, but they look top... £38 a pair + postage from themudguardman.co.uk, you have to phone the guy... :)

Or find a wooden one like a fastboy - I heard a little while ago that Brixton Cycles were doing their own one, haven't seen one yet but worth calling them

  • cool . . .kinda like the salmon but costs alot tho

  • Is there anything similar to a Fastboy Fender available at the moment or am I going to have to break out the kettle and clamps??
