This bike has now morphed into the 2010 Peacemaker, so its been removed from this list. December 6th 2009.

I love to have the belt driven new fixie inc bike, seemed like an interesting experience for an almost no need to maintained to keep running bicycle.

the wood bars has been done but quite rare and pop up sporadically every now and then, the most recent I've known is the Fast Boy Bikes having them.

I like the Schwinn.

the Schwinn is nice, but god the fork is ugly.

I like the Fixie Inc. belt-driven bike more when it was rusty (the lugged fork is also nice but I go for either);

argh! I really want that fixie inc. bike, and I never did used to lust after other bike before, just certain part for my bike.

To me, Fixie Inc. understand the aesthetic of classically styled fixed geared bikes, better than any other company.
The exception is the Condor, with their Paris Galiber, and the new Condor Paris.

True, my own bikes are fat-framed alu jobbies; but thats to carry my bulk without flexing.
But I really hanker after any of the afore-mentioned bikes. I wish Elton John were my god-father.

which is quite conventional for a belt-drive system, that sold me alone, thought no idea how much the belt itself would cost if needed a replacement.

That wasn't actually what I meant. I was going more for the "who the fuck is gonna stock belts for this system"? I guess this sort of machine isn't going to be used for any long haul truckin' so maybe it's irrelevant?

why not, used them in cars for donkeys? tough as they come. i swhould think they are using a common sized belt too.

i spoke to the guys at the stall where they had the belt drive fixie inc and they said it was never going to released with a belt drive and was just a show bike, but reading the bike rumor post im not too sure now.
