Once your nuts are soaked you don't really feel the cold, hit the first big puddle hard with the thighs open and the you are all gravy untill you have to get back into the wet clothes in 9 hours!
Anyone advise on a good OTP waterproof jacket that is quick drying? mine is shot through.

I've just thrown mine down the stairwell.. fuck 'em and their lack of drying spots.

Polite notice to pedestrians: an umbrella is not a personal force field. So don't behave like it is.

just bought one of these, awesome. super light, pack down tiny, zero water and shake it, instantly dry!

Clear roads, skiddy, skid skid all the way in. Tempting to say I prefer this weather if it clears the numpties off the roads.

Great ride in, getting lost trying to take short cuts was a bit stupid of me, but still lovely weather for a ride. Best thing was the lovely hot shower at work and only 1 other person in the normally packed full change rooms.
Anyone were tights or over-pants for the really cold wet days that are to come?

Anyone here got a Bob Jackson Vigorelli and uses mudguards? As much as I love the PissOfLondon (don't know how to add the TM symbol) patch on arse crack I think it may be worth getting some. I know there are countless threads about mudguards but I was wondering about SKS Race Blades/Bob Jackson Vigorelli compatibility specifically. Cheers!

Trying to keep moving in this horrible weather...today a middle aged man at the newly-Very-slow-phase lights at Holborn tried to use his briefcase to assault me on my bike. I had just verry slowwwly jumped a red where peds also had red but were crossing. I was veering behind a load that were crossing, he started to slow down and veer toward me, tried to take me with his briefcase. WHY!? D'you think he's like the judge dredd of some accounts depatment, the judge jury and execuctioner of minor traffic infringement (which he was also committing).
I had that horrible feeling as I rode on (shoulda stopped and twatted him with my Topeak... shoulda spun round and follwed him to a dark alley and then flattened him...shoulda... coulda... woulda)

Because his life's shit and you are within swinging distance. Smile at him and it'd piss him off way more than getting involved in the altercation that he wants.
Unless he is Judge Dredd of the accounting world and he was there just to dish out some justice - in which case, lucky escape ;-)
