An improvement, I'd say.

Last year was the summer of rain, this year seems much worse for wind. Last night's training session was a vicious grovel leaving me without enough energy for the return leg.

Yesterday morning 7am in SE London was the most ridiculous weather I have ever been out in. Going through New X my feet were underwater the puddles got so deep.
