  • i knew he posted it some where...RJSs

  • Christ, that's almost identical! Sorry RJS.

Mine was inspired by the bike in the "what rims are these" thread. In fact the first thing (well, the second) Teenslain said was - Amortex all the silver things black. Mine's lug lined in black. By someone who was either suffering from acute DT's or was being tickled by a tickle stick at the time.

  • There is definitely a brotherhood forming...

  • The Bob Jackson Five ;) at least

I'm still waiting for my frame but there's gonna be another one pretty similar, hopefully by the end of August. Mine would have been near enough identical to snowy_again (it was my "what rims are these" post) but I've changed hubs and wheels from black to silver - picking them up from Harry Hall's (manchester) tomorrow.

It's nice to see BJs in the colour I'm getting 'cos I couldn't picture the final build in my head. I'm happy now - I know it's not gonna look like a clown bike at least!

  • snowy is that a normal rolls or a ti one?!

  • A normal, but there's a Due going on to replace it. The seat post is a bit Marmite too, so that might go, can't decide yet.

Surprisingly, the bikes actually heavier than the Joe Waugh, and I've ripped half a thumb nail off after frisbee, so I can't get the bleddy Velocity stickers off. Just borrowed some disc brake cleaner from the LBS to see if that helps shift 'em.

But thank you Dewi for that post, it prompted me to get off my arse and set up the cyclescheme at this job and that was the result!

  • snowy, as david shrigley once said, 'there's no such thing as a metal frisbee'. :)

  • Late night frisbee with a fluro frisbee after beers and smokes is never a sensible option. Good fun, but I've had to superglue the nail back in to place so I can do band camp stuff over the weekend...

  • Don't try to make new holes in your belt while you are still wearing it.

  • Don't park in the fast lane.

(I have actually done that todd, without injury, so in david shrigley's FACE)

  • Is he this man? http://www.whoiamandwhatiwant.com/ his own wesbite is down. Fail.

  • he's this man: http://www.davidshrigley.com/

He doesn't sound glaswegian though, he sounds like he's from the dales. Nice man, I met him at one of his private views somewhere near bond street.

Lack of pixels but you get the idea.
