Can I get a fuck yeah for kat and the ONLY tourer shout so far? My Dawes Galaxy would be the bike I grabbed if I could only save one. I love my fixes too but that gnarley old Dawes has taken me further, higher, steeper and more heavily loaded than any fixed could. Kiss kiss for the long wheel base.

I have n bike, with +1 in progress.
When completed I will still have n+1 bike, however the value of n will b different and a new ethos for +1 will be adopted.
Space isn't an issue as my house is a tardis.

where you people keep these impressive collections? this is a london based forum right?
In a garage with three big fucken locks on it and the car - which is worth plenty more than the bikes but I care way less about and so has to live outside - pulled up tight against the door.
The collection:
60s Gillott fixed conversion
Langster
Scott carbon/alu geared road bike
SS Dekerf MTB (bought off Scott on here)
Giant hardtail geared MTB (another one was nicked last week)
Beater geared road bike
Beater geared MTB
Sinclair A-bike folder
Unicycle...so I make that 8 and a half.
In build:
Wet weather ss with frame from AndyP - ta!Wanted:
Electra/Felt cruiser
Robin Mather tourer
Strida folder
Moulton folder
Pashley Guvnor
Recumbent of some description

Geared bike is kept in the 'summer house' which is more of a shed. Folder is in there foldered up in the courner. Frame is sitting in the dinning room on the floor with bubble wrap around it. Wont fit in the shed at the moment and would get damaged so its staying in the house for as long as possible.

(jimalex - Fuck yeah for tourers! I got mine third-hand five years ago and i've only ever had two flats. things have worn out, but never broken. compare that to my other show pony bikes....hmmmm. i'm currently moving house, albeit slowly, with this beast of a bike.)
re:storage. for a while i had 4 bikes and 2 frames stacked on the wall and floor at the end of the bed and 2 in the yard of the flat below. bike origami! things get easier once you start thinking about your flat as a shed. it also helps if your partner feels the same way....

Two and a half:
1 track bike - lives in the house, was the Sunday Best but is being commuted on presently due to...
1 Raleigh fixed conversion - lives in the shed, was the commuter but has now got a royally fucked dropout due to me asking a policeman to undo my wheel nut. To be mended :(
1 Le Jeune stepthrough frame - lives in the garden since Matt (Baddesigner) found it in the trash and will eventually become shitty pub bike, unless it disintegrates before that.I feel much better about my indulgences knowing that everyone else generally has at least 2 more bikes than me.

How many bikes do you own?
All of them.
1 of mine is under the bed, the rest line the front wall.. fuck cleanliness.
