I can smell the suburbs on you.
Not just the smell, making democracy inclusive to the point where we let the burbs vote just gave us Boris.

Live in SE15, have lived in London for the past 20 years, apart from a 3 year stint in Birmingham from which I never fully recovered. Also believe if you were allowed to vote for the Mayor of London, you're a Londoner. These days Londoners come from all over the world and the city is a better place for it IMHO.

Born in N22
Live in E1Have lived in Bristol, EC1 and Melbourne. I'm sure no one cares but just felt like saying.
And, yeah, I agree. London is a better place for new people from allover. Otherwise it wouldn't be London.

I'd class you as a Londoner if you've been here a short time but already have acquired a python-esque humour and a dark cynicism.

no offence to the non-london readers, but I've just come back to the forum after about a week to find that almost everyone here is suddenly not from london, and it's weirding me out...
so where are you?
Fred, check out this map, you can see where londonfgss people are hiding:

I'm on it - under horatio's 800x600 avatar
so we're at 30% non-london (even counting VB's definition that includes all of south-east england), and this 30% are those that are brave enough to 'fess up...
OK, at least I now know I'm not going mad.
