    keine bolzenloch.

  • yeah - I might have to drill it. I know this means I'll get abused in public but I haven't got the balls to go brakeless in london.

i don't think that's really true. going brakeless in london is a minority sport, not unlike this:

Don't drill it, you can get devices to attach brakes to frames without drilling. search keirin brake.

  • you dont fuck with trains, its idiots like that, who make riding the rails harder for people who know what they are up to, and its not funny when your mate misses hoppin a box on the fly, and as the train rolls away faster then you can jump off he is on the ground screaming cuz he just lost his leg.

  • These are £690 - custom order. Not cheap, but not 1200 either. I've ordered one and it'll be ready for the summer.

Where did you order the frame from? How long is the waiting list? I'm going to have a business trip to London on 19th, want to order a yellow frame. No Cinelli dealers in Turkey...

  • I got mine in Japan. Its so light Im scared I might get blown away. Its being built in England and should be finished for the summer!!

  • Ordered my Jag Verde (Green) Supercorsa Pista directly at Luigi Barbavara from Cinelli, will get it next month via my local LBS. If you want it drilled for two brakes, speak to Luigi, he'll fix that for you! Or take either the Strada fork, which is drilled anyway, and have only the seat stay bridge drilled. If you contact Luigi, just tell him, you want your frame like Vincent's - he'll know exactly what you're talking about!

Here is my De Rosa, if you mind seeing it.

  • local local bike shop? do you get your money out of the ATM machine?

  • it's in his house :-)

Vincent, how much did you pay ?

  • Hi Fred, payed 1.300 EUR, should be roundabout 1.000 GBP. If your dealer wants more, let me know. You order the frame at Luigi, he'll send it to me and I will send it to you for nothing more than a few bucks of postage (postage is cheap from Berlin to London. Possibly I could bring it even to you for free, if you're living in south to mid England. I will have to do some work in England this summer.)
I believe, the Primato and the Supercorsa are the most beautiful bikes ever made, so they are worth every single Pound you pay. That's why I have to ride them both!!

  • cheers vincent. does that price include forks? do you think luigi would mind having his phone number up on lfgss?

  • Fork included, Fred. Call Cinelli & ask for Luigi (find the phonenumber on their website). He is a kind and helpful guy.

I will get my Pista end of May!!!!!

  • What's weight of the frame and fork? Since it's Niobium Spirit steel, the tubing walls should be 0.38mm !!!

  • Vincent, I am looking to build a road bike and I love the supercorsa am I right that you call the number on the Cinelli website and ask for Luigi and they will talk to him in English? For 1300 euros I am seriously considering this!

  • good if you are a wealthy midget

  • Sorry for not getting back to you before, Smilie. Was busy. To answer your question: yes, correct. Just call Cinelli in Caleppo and ask for Luigi Barbavara (lovely these Italian names). Tell him my name and he will know.
@ Zeppelin: Sorry, don't know the frame weight jet. As a steel only rider I'm not so much into weight questions as CF fanatics.
P.S. No comments on my lovely Primato? Hmmmmmmmm. Grummel - grummel (German for murmor - murmor). But what do I expect from a fixie / single speed forum. My fault.

  • Vincent, any pics of the new bike yet?

  • Reminds me of my lost love, soon to be reuinted....

    So bizzaro!

was checkin out the cinelli's and find this shot of this green machine sitting seating I designed!
