Both Cinelli and Colnago are now making steel track frames again, i won't be surprised if De Rosa joins them as they already make a steel road model... would be cool to see De Rosa track frames actually!

That's a way to ruin a perfectly good frame. Yuk!

And that all besides the fact that they turned the contrast up just that tiny bit to much in Photoshop

Roberto [quote]the-smiling-buddha Roberto what is the name of the de Rosa road model..?
Neo Primato - Brixton Cycle$ used to sell them...
De Rosa used to do custom frames (I bought a couple of bikes from them directly when I lived in Switzerland) so I'm sure they'd do a steel track frame for you if you were prepared to pay for it. That said, the Italian frame building world tends to follow trends so now that Colnago, Cinelli and Casati are building track/singlespeed frames I wouldn't be surprised if more of them include a track frame in their 2009 line up.

These are £690 - custom order. Not cheap, but not 1200 either. I've ordered one and it'll be ready for the summer.
-
• #49
are you going to ride it on the track?

Mubbi. It's gonna be my commute bike. Does anyone know about the new Sarroni Colnago 2008 and whether they'll be doing a track version with chrome forks?
Fsck me! £1200?!
It's ridiculously nice, but you've got to be paying just for the branding on that.
