This is unlikely, but - I was just coming up the stairs of my building with my bike in arm, and girlfriend in tow. Some guy was coming down sans bike but also with girlfriend in tow. I had to get out of the way to let them down. I thought he had said "lots of traffic down the stairs" but my girlfriend said he said "my trackie is down stairs" (where two bikes have been stolen from since I've moved here!). Perhaps you're on here, and I can say, I'm not a dick who ignored you, just misheard you?

i think you deliberately misheard after he said 'trackie'; second only to 'fixie'.

That must have been on my way to CM. I was overall puzzled. I spend so little time on the South Bank that I have no clue where anything is unless I'm looking at it from across the river.

@ horatio: I normally shout out 'Arrospok!' when I'm pissed, if I'm with my gf she'll dig me in the ribs and call me an idiot... Which is a fair cop... It is stupid, but I think it's funny... Haven't had an "I sue you!' back yet, normally just a 'Who the fsck's that twat?' expression... :(

Hi Horatio, Good to meet you and hi to others from last night.
Did you make it to the restaurant on time?

Nope. But I was by far not the latest. And we ended up sitting outside all night, so I could have brought my bike (and therefore have been on time) which, plus the fact I saw CM go by as I was on my way to the restaurant (so I could have stayed with them), was a bit annoying. But I quickly drowned my sorrows in beer.

I saw lots of people that looked like they probably frequent this forum at Ripley today/

Thanks, i got it off a girl who used to live with andy p from fixedgearlondon. He built it for me. it's got dura ace hubs, yes. I do get around a bit as i work freelance and as the frame's so vivid i guess it's more noticeable than others. although worryingly a few chavs have been giving me grief for the colour. Shucks.

it also reported that the hippy was riding the plastic mile-muncher and dressed as a multi-coloured euro-andipodean style roadie scum. with beard.

it may be malfunctioning though, as it appears to have got wet on the way back
