  • hippy Why are you getting two of 'em Corny?

because if you like something, buy two, that way they last twice as long,

I do also need a new bag, and two sizes makes my life a bit easier because I can chop and change in relation to my carrying needs.

  • btw scott's bags are getting thumbs up all over the place, me and smeear spent a little while trying to find any flaws...waste of time.

    You earn too much! :P

Maybe I could get Scott to cover mine in rhinestones.. ala.. that bling thread :)

  • :)

Something with a hint of convict perhaps? 'cept I'm not actually that patriotic..

One less car kinda stuff.. I know you all dream about me crushing a car using only my buttocks..

  • Oh, jesus...

  • I thought of another one.. make the bag look like its been drawn on by Banksy but blurred like he stencilled ya while riding by.. or maybe not.

  • im quite happy about the waterproofing on the postie bags, how are the scott bags??

  • yeye not those!

  • Well, scott's in Scotland so I'd expect them to be drier than a Nun's..

The one murtle had looked rock solid and unlike my (soaked this morning) crumpler had flaps on the inside of the main flap that kinda shield the sides.
I'm not making much sense but basically I am very jealous of 31 and now that I have two reasons to relegate my Crumpler, as soon as I can find something to put on the bag, I'll order one..
    You getting this Scott? :)

  • got a bag for sale £7 found it when having a clear out . ill post up some pics. its got a courier company logo on it but you could cover that with large patch or a nice piece of embroidery by your Nan.

    might be interested.....

  • that's fugly ben and i dont have 205 for that!

  • haha.. they might need to lower their prices as well!

  • why not sort out a website, selling bags through their too?
would widen your market to the worldwide.

  • Coz then, in 5 or so years, he'd be rolling in cash getting bags made in Taiwan and nobody would like 'em..

  • Why would nobody like them? Rapha is made in china and people buy it.

Do it, scott! Make that paper.

  • I'm thinking more about Crumpler bags.. started in Melbourne but now mass-prod in Korea or something.

  • Yeah and they're probably raaaaking it in. They're only deemed uncool by the original couriers who wore them.

It's like when a band sells out by joining a massive record label...

  • edmundane that's fugly ben and i dont have 205 for that!

ha! Fancy ass italians. It does look fairly flash in the flesh. We were doing a feature on their new store in CW. Apparently they are aiming at the "luxury" end of bags. For all the 100k workers here.

Anyone got any comments on timbuk2 bags?

  • I've had a couple of timbuks, swore by them until I saw 31trum's Scott not Scot bag, for me they were the original courier bag, haven't brought one in a couple of years, but they are pretty water tight, the only thing is the corners get worn away if you have them for any length of time, always liked the customisable panel design, but you can only build your own on their website and they only deliver to the states. internal divider that I've got in one of my smaller bags, is a bit shit as it sewn into the bag at the bottom, along the backside, so its not really central and when tou have stuff in it, makes the bag kinda awkward to carry.

  • Rapha's made in China? Blimey.

  • hey scott, would you allow me to design you website, i'm in my gap year and need stuff to put in a portfolio, no charge but if you like it at the end of it maybe a reduced bag?

i would be so thankful, and if you don't like then you don't have to use it,

    tell me what you think

    thanks
