Fuck knows. As Fanny Dead Brain has pointed out elsewhere it's not as if couriering is a 'real' job. We're all just crusties with rich parents who buy us expensive bags so we can tootle around being renegades.
By the way I'm just back from 10 hours of doing my 'not real' job. For which today I earned less than the minimum wage. -

What the fuck am I going to do with a Christie's catalogue on it's way to someone at a hedge fund which was one of the really lovely things I had to deliver today.

Sorry I didn't really word my post very well, I meant that crumplers and other mass produced bags aren't really the same sort of quality as the bags that dancinjames was referring to.

Why don't you just buy a postie's bag off a bloke in the pub like everyone else? Play your cards right it'll only cost you a pint

Too late I know, but I've had my Chrome bag for a couple of years now and I love it - fits will, big enough for everything and still looks good. Gets my vote.
Yeah, friend has a crumpler sticky date and has had/used it for about 2 years iirc, doesn't look a day over brand new.
