Happy days, I got my Fleecer Ridge 55s off ebay!

That’s so nice. What is it?
-
• #29435
Yeah it's an original Sturdy before the pricing went mental
-
• #29436
I was this close to ordering one when pricing doubled overnight.

There's https://frameworkbicycles.com/ in Canada who are in that early Sturdy stage. Clearly amazing engineering, design and manufacture but as of yet not got big enough to charge loads. Their Instagram feed is great, some seriously impressive stuff.

I was going to say, thats a lot of coin, does look lovely and seems to come with a lot.
Think they have all gone up but thats crazy, I was speaking with Sam from Stayer yesterday and he was saying that with the 3D printing can control the costs etc a lot better so able to pass on the savings to some degree, when compared with the machine of a previous items.
The change from the yoke and rear to 3D printing has been something they have done recently with the OG+ frame

That chainring looks #fuckingclose

I was expecting them to be more expensive to be honest. Considering the stupid pricing of Spesh stuff.

Just spent ages looking at all their other stuff.... Do I need a Ti T47 BB and Bar end plugs..... Possibly.

Sexy biek

The site is very Insta.
But then I tend to buy my bikes after watching people I know trying their best to destroy them rather than how sexy the photos are.

It is, I'll be dropping down to 44T. It's absolutely fine in perfect conditions but a bit too close for anything muddy.

Maybe thats why I am sucked in haha.
Could buy a Hanbini BB for the same price....
Have to say being an early adopter of the OG+ I am amazed by what it can do! Was relaying this back to Sam yesterday!! Its the f*ck do I need another bike really scenario then comes down to more of a want to change rather than a real need to change and get caught up in a consumerism part...

If you want it done in the UK, I can recommend Jim aka James King Paint. He is half the price of the other top UK painters and on par or even better quality.
The specific colours were the owners choice and ignore the wild build but he did this one while I was at Saffron amongst others

Meh I went original original sturdy before he went titanium (like before Dylan went electric)

Hanbini BB
lol

Also did a double take on that sturdy, nice.
If I went full out with a bike that costs more than I earn in a year, the ott things from his insta would definitely be on the moodboard. -

Thing is the price of tyres or disc/pads for a car/van are sometimes cheaper than the equivalent for the bicycle.
I am also awesome.
So I should make this happen. People need double awesome in their lives.
