  • Bdhu certification needed.whatcha tinkk?

  • Bars down and therefore hoods up slightly

  • I'm on it. Thanks Boss Really!

  • Having never come across BDHU before, which is weird seeing how much i enjoy reading random threads, twas a surpise to be flagged for it. Cue a thread dive, not that I read the whole thing, aint nobody got time for that…

the logic behind it all makes sense the me, better drop position, hoods a lightly closer, and it does look good.

    So gave it a go.

  • I think you went the wrong way? Or you are trolling. There's loads of examples in this thread with compact bars and tektro SS levers

  • Naw, I rotated down and under rotated the levers a bit for fear of shortening reach too much... Will see how it goes and adjust accordingly... Input is greatly appreciated

  • Great reference point... Looks spot on to my untrained eye.

  • How’s this looking?

    Hoods up a bit?

  • Looks good as is.

  • My anxiety intensifies when seeing this on Instagram

  • ive been completely confused reading this thread for the first time - which is borderline anti - thinking bdhu meant "brakes down, handlebars up".

  • I’d start with the bar ends vertical/drops horizontal, then slide the hoods up to a comfortable position

Thanks - good advice and after a bit of faffing, I think I'm there

Not happy about the stem/top-tube angle mismatch and need to chop steerer too so I can slam the stem

  • Too easy.

  • Damn, came here for this

  • Fantastic on every level, just keeps giving

  • Knew I'd find this here as soon as I saw it. There's even an image of the rider in the drops doing some contortions to reach the levers. At what point are drop bars just not the right choice?

  • Thanks, I'm pretty happy with it so far.

  • Exactly this.
Epic spacer stack | absurdly short stem | spongy sleeve over bar tape | no-drop on your drops....

perhaps this whole drop-bar thing isn't for you.....

  • Rodeo labs consistently posts bikes with egregious hubu
