Lori and I too. We were very star struck meeting Emilio aka Luis. Was it Aram’s 42nd birthday? I’ve got some nice pics from that party and in my memory Emilio was there too.
Just devastated by the news and I’m sending all my love to J and E. Aram was one of the very best.
Joe said it well, may the wind always be at your back. RIP, friend.

This is exactly what I was about to post! Not asking a hundred questions was impossible.
Aram was a genuinely nice guy. Lots of love to Jenne and the family. ❤️ -

About four seconds after this photo, I went to the fridge and asked “Luis, do you want a beer?”, then pooed my pants when I realised what I had done.
He was cool as a motherfucker and just said if there were 40 year old men about that still knew him as a character in their life in the 80s, then he had done a pretty sweet job.
I love telling this story

Rest in peace Aram. A truly beautiful human being. What an absolute honour and privilege to have met the man and spent time riding and chatting.
Jenne and Eladio so truly sorry for your loss. I hope time brings you peace and sending lots of love to you both. Xxx

I haven't really said anything here or elsewhere because I find it hard to find appropriate words. Just desperately sad for Aram and his family and friends. I wasn't as close as some here, but I've known Aram and Jenne since the early days of "here". He was an incredibly cool dude in almost every way and i'm just so deeply sorry for those left behind.

Without Internet for the last few days, just the worst news, even if predicted. I last saw Aram during the pandemic when they came up to London. Out of the country when Joe was over, so missed what turns out to have been my last chance to see him. I can't believe how unlucky he was with this cancer. So sad for Jenne, and Eladio especially. The wedding was one of the best events ever, absolutely joyous. He was just a wonderful man. Unforgettable, Aram. Miss you forever.
'No, there's no logic to this, who's picked to stay or go. If you think too hard, it only makes you mad. [...] And I didn't get a chance to say goodbye.'

Dear, oh dear - naively didn't think it was going down this route.
Only met the man a couple of times and a long time ago at that (Burrito Ride included - had completely forgotten about the film until seeing a much younger version of myself in the video!) but was immediately memorable thanks his aching coolness and unique warmness.
Tragic also to only now learn about this Sesame Street connection.
Sending much love to those closest to him!

RIP Aram.
Lots of lovely memories in this thread. In the words of Al Green...
"And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
Tell me, how can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go 'round?"x Jenne and Eladio x Be strong x

Heard the news and wanted to unflounce to post how sad I am to hear it.
Aram was one of the people who went out of their way to help me feel welcome when I started to go to forum drinks. A really nice dude. He could sense my social awkwardness and made little gestures to make me feel part of the gang. So sorry for Jenne and those who loved him.

I just remember Aram for once being super serious whilst telling me and possibly others not to make a big fuss about his dad being in Sesame Street. We needed to “be cool” I found this very difficult. I fucking loved Sesame Street.
