Didn't realise other shifters were available tbh.

You can unscrew the screen / gear indicator too, for the minimal look, then no one will know.

Yes to this.

Thread continues to deliver. Looking forward to seeing the next build. Keep up the Stirling work!

If you’ve left it steeping all that time you might have created a new performance enhancing drug
Or laxative
One of the two

Can't it be both?

To be honest, it did very little. My HRavg for lunch turbo was borderline asleep.
I think my tolerance for caffeine is already in the 'WTF' range. -

It's mega.
Indicator seems to suggest it needs cooling or maybe an oil change tho

I like its retro cool look, like an old Sony ghetto blaster

The only acceptable gear indicator is that one on some obscure German gearbox with gripshift which has a tiny human on a bike in the window and the hill they’re riding on gets steeper as u shift down.

I don't have that on either of my obscure German gearboxes :-(

Would you describe your bike as midcentury modern?

i'm just saying the gear indicator window is for conniseurs, it's for those not afraid to step out.
think of it like another bastion of modernist design, the rolex oysterquartz. for years derided, mocked, people said it was confused, didn't know what it wanted to be and went so far to say it was a waste of space. where do we find ourselves now? in a sea of sharp, intergrated steel braceletts, 70's design queus, quartz revivalism, stick dials on simple tonal faces. many of those features are reflected on the windowed trigger shifter itself.
You missed out on picking up a oysterquartz for 2 grand before, get in on the ground floor here.
i for one can assure you that the satisfying push of the trigger is as rewarding as any swiss made crown.
