More seriously it's been started, but I was out of 73mm BBs and 750mm down tubes so can't get any further until Ceeway delivers.
I have engraved and machined the head tube...

aside from this bike i'm working on getting another.

i've been publically BEGGING orbea for them to send me a orbea Katsu-E for a week now, we're picking up some momentum. it's tongue in cheek really, but also 👀

part of me refuses to buy an ebike as they just seem inordiantely expensive for the tech, but also because i'm stubborn and dismissive of needing one like any person who wants to push their failing body to the back of their mind. which is why i'm instead trying again with another accoustic bike designed for this duct taped together flesh sack.

that said the katsu E is perfect, BB motor, 20'' wheels, external battery, dyno, looks great, would be my ideal ebike. and if orbea would bless me from their stock room or a trade discount code it would surely ease my stubborness.

as i've been saying on my insta (@hayleyridesbikes), imagine one of these with some nitto cow cows, a @Tijmen basket bag, some irreverent stickers, brooks and some saddle dangle thing? would be cool, being in north london i'm sure i'll ride past some bored mum/dad who goes "mmmm maybe that is the bike for me too, i'm as care free, attractive, well dressed and educated as that woman there riding what seems to be the best specced urban ebike on the market!"
