Another nandos supporter 👋
Handy to have where hot grilled and chicken, that also has veggie options.

• #3603
If only they could actually grill a chicken properly

I haven't had nandos for a long time but everytime I have the chicken has been dry as shit and the marinades can't hide chicken that's cooked bad. But good to know what chicken joint I should go to when I want olives and vegan food 👍

Not exactly "I never got" because I only went there once recently but WTF is German Doner Kebap, what an absolutely disgusting abomination.
-
• #3606
They're probably the wurst.

Thanks, interesting read.

I mean.... it pretty much says it in the title.
Shame they don't do German falafel. Because that shit is awesome.

It's not like any Doner Kebap I had in Germany, it's just paper wrapped sadness.

We've got one opening soon in sunny Bracknell. I'll report my findings once I have done the research.

We got a takeaway from a new (to us) Turkish the other day. Was devastated to find donner meat in my Iskender.
I'm fortunate to like almost everything and be able to eat anything. But one of the few things I dislike is lamb donner meat. Ended up throwing most of it 😢

It was a weird attempt to zhuzh up the humble post booze up image of doners into a fancy euro style bit of fast food. Hasn't worked so far imo

I'm in Istanbul this week and I'm pretty sure I saw a German Doner franchise yesterday, which is all kinds of wrong.
But in London Tops German Doner Pizza is a dirty pizza favourite

Hi chatGPT! Invent a new pizza variety which combines several genres of food and is both shocking and delicious...
Introducing the "Extravaganza Fusion Pizza" – a mind-blowing creation that combines the best elements of different culinary genres to create a shocking and delicious pizza experience!
Crust:
The base of the Extravaganza Fusion Pizza is a thin, crispy crust infused with the flavors of naan bread, giving it a slightly chewy and fragrant texture.Sauce:
Instead of traditional tomato sauce, we incorporate a tangy, spicy Thai green curry sauce as the base. It adds a delightful kick and exotic twist to the pizza.Cheese:
A blend of creamy mozzarella and sharp cheddar cheese is sprinkled generously over the sauce. The combination of these two cheeses creates a gooey, melty goodness that adds richness to every bite.Toppings:
Tandoori Chicken: Tender pieces of tandoori-spiced chicken, marinated with aromatic Indian spices, are scattered across the pizza, infusing it with smoky and savory flavors.
Sweet and Spicy Korean Bulgogi Beef: Thinly sliced, succulent beef, marinated in a sweet and spicy Korean bulgogi sauce, adds a burst of umami and a touch of heat.
Cajun Shrimp: Juicy, seasoned shrimp with a Cajun twist adds a seafood element, bringing a briny, slightly spicy flavor that pairs well with the other toppings.
Mediterranean Vegetables: A colorful medley of roasted eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, and sun-dried tomatoes add a fresh and vibrant taste, providing a balance of flavors to the pizza.
Crispy Bacon Bits: Crumbled, crispy bacon pieces are scattered throughout, offering a smoky and salty contrast to the other ingredients.
Pineapple and Jalapeños: A controversial but delightful combination of sweet and tangy pineapple chunks, along with slices of spicy jalapeños, adds a surprising and exciting flavor contrast.
Topped with Fresh Cilantro and Thai Basil: Fragrant herbs like cilantro and Thai basil are sprinkled on top, adding a burst of freshness and enhancing the overall aroma.
Finishing Touch:
To complete this extravaganza, a drizzle of Sriracha-infused honey is delicately applied over the pizza, providing a sweet and spicy glaze that ties all the flavors together. The Extravaganza Fusion Pizza is an explosion of tastes and textures that pushes the boundaries of traditional pizza. It combines the best of Indian, Korean, Cajun, and Mediterranean cuisines, blending savory, sweet, and spicy flavors to create a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Brace yourself for a delicious adventure that will tantalize your taste buds like never before!
