Mark E Smith once proclaimed 'even if its just me and yer Granny on Bongoes,
it'll still be The Fall'.
I'm not convinced @Sifta and myself meeting up constitutes a Wests.
Last night we ventured further than @Sifta 's local, the Crown & Sceptre in Shepherds Bush,
and tried the Station House on Churchfield Road Acton.
We had noticed this place 'jumping' back in the Lockdown days of tramp beers
in the adjacent Acton Park. Last night was more subdued, and we found that although
the set up resembles a pub, it is really a restaurant with an upmarket, maybe Fullers-supplied,
range of beers.
Table service only, and a non-negotiable service charge.
So with the demise of The Castle, are there any other pubs worth trying in North-ish Acton?
Over to @skydancer@moorhen and @jdmitch
The Grand Junction, next to the canal, probably needs warmer weather to enjoy the vista.
Apologies the door was blocked by tumbleweed.
