Good to hear, it's a nice one. Doing pour over with an Orea brewer here, get that nice boozy natural flavor.

Anyone got a decent grinder they're looking to get rid of? Was trying to get hold of a kitchenaid proline and to swap out the burrs.

I posted one few days ago in the Classifieds section https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/381025/

Has anyone brewed their Pie-San Rume Sudan yet? As it's such a small bag I don't want to fuck it up!
I'm thinking aeropress as I've got a very established/trusted process for that.

The filter at Dom’s Subs (formerly Lanark) is bangin just now. They’ve got a 5kg tub of something other than Lost Highway, could be To The Moon… I’ll have a look tomorrow.

Not yet but I'm going with my tried and tested v60 process. :)

Mine arrived today, I’m going v60 tomorrow for sure

Clever! (Dripper)
I should be able to get two with my aeropress. Had first this morning, it was good. Didn't blow me away, but was good.
I made it at work with a Quooker type tap though so the water was probably not at an ideal temperature.

Trying to think when I might be able to fit some of that in...

Obviously a popular thing right now, bought some from a local roaster a couple of weeks back. Great for filter, a bit hard to get right for espresso.

My Delonghi Autentica bean to cup recently developed a warning light and empty water light error, can't get it working.
So I swapped back to my Delonghi Icona with modified portafilter (pressure basket removed and swapped to simple sieve type filter basket) and the coffee quality has stepped up significantly. Had forgotten what good coffee tasted like!

Sounds almost exactly like one I had from Hasbean

@dbr kindly gave me some of this (Dark Arts Weird Science). It's great with an aeropress and the beans smell incredible, but today I'm unexpectedly WFH and left my Porlex at work so I made it as an espresso and it was BANGING. The smell of the beans after they'd been through my Vario was amazing.
All in all 10/10 coffee would definitely recommend if you like a popping fruity kinda vibe.

RHS Bridgewater cafe, looked like typical garden centre setup so ordered an Espresso with low expectations. It was the best I've had for a few years. Asked who roasts their beans, they're called Salford Roasters - recommending for those that enjoy shopping around

Nice mug!

Thanks for the recommendation…..just ordered this to give it a go on espresso

Today I will mostly be not doing this...

Almost finished this bag now. I think I got a better, brighter cup using V60 in the end.
Despite the cutesy branding that made me very skeptical, I'm definitely impressed with the Hippo.

For financial reasons had to pause my posh coffee sub. For time reasons I usually just do a plunger in the morning. Occasionally I'll get the Aeropress out.
I will never not be astonished at whatever magic goes on in an Aeropress that gives it the ability to make a great cuppa out of mediocre supermarket coffee.

Me too, have ordered some of the Colombia, Buena Vista from them as that sounds tasty too.
Ooof, very tasty. Fluked the dial in and first shot was very tasty, not sure I’ve been able to taste the natural ‘funkiness’ in espresso so well before. I’ve had it shine through on pour over before but seems to get lost in espresso normally for me!
