Mavic all road disc would be the literal equivalent- that doesn’t necessarily make them a good choice.

Do you know what the max tyre size is on your synapse as I didn’t think they had particularly “gravel friendly” clearances.

Depressingly the bike was stolen from my locked garage (where it was locked) within 12 hours of me buying it, so I can’t check.

I think probably 32mm would probably be the max, and thanks for the reply - here’s hoping I get to find out, eventually!

I've seen a 2nd hand Spesh Diverge Base E5 advertised for sale for £800.

It looks decent in the pics but they are only £1099 new.

Anyone in here got a Lauf Seigla? If so, thoughts?

Oddly enough a bloke having a drink at my local had one with him. He said it was a great bike but that said, he was mostly an MTB rider so didn't have much to compare it to. So what I'm saying was I've got nothing useful to say about the Seigla.

Admittedly, the Spooky is pretty much a cross bike. The Golden Wonder is a first gen IF deluxe that was super tatty so i had a disc tab added and a powder coat.

that roadrat is awful

All of his bikes are awful, fit is set up all weird on all his bikes...but he likes them and enjoys riding them which is the main thing.

Fyi they are 26" wheels too. 58/16 ratio too on a free wheel..

Roadrat is fine, apart from the silly rear rack which will eventually snap if you carry anything heavier than a jacket potato
