  It is really a stupid situation, a reminder that almost everything online is so fragile a lives shorter than a compact disc. I enjoy reading here once in a week and see the progress in building techniques and automation ideas (that I like most, feels like looking at Henry Ford in a Garage haha). Also the look and feels of LFGSS is awesome simple, in contrast to Discord, or other forum applications. Really sad to expect an end to it =(

  That also counts for Corian? At least I don’t find any information about it, apart from ,solid surface’ etc.

  I guess that's mainly from a recycling perspective? I've read a little bit about it but didn't find much things about it being environmentally (very) bad.

  I have mounted our Corian sink seamless, and it is really awesome, from a cleaning perspective and touching it is so satisfying. From a DIY perspective it is meh (getting the glue gun for example) but it can be repaired I think even more easily than wood, like sanding, re-glueing pieces into it invisble – but I guess @Dramatic_Hammer someone is mounting this for you, so no DIY advise needed?

  No problem, I am wearing the clown mask now, ~£730 – but in really good shape. I was also considering its resale value, probably sells for more or less the same. This was one of the first things to do, mount/glue this vertical piece above the dado cut.

  Finally I was weak – but have a project where I need it – and bought a (used) Festool Domino dowel joining machine. Really awesome, it may be like a 'Thermomix' in the kitchen, but it is so easy to use and the joining is en pointe, no measurements at all I had to make when using it for making the first drawer with it. Plan was to sell it after a while again, but... nope.
