  • Nice! The area around Coimbra is great too! There is a shuttle service in Lousã, I was there last week and rode the dh track of the world cup but it was more scary than fun tbh, super steep and very loose surface....
It's not signposted that well, I found these routes by first looking which areas are populair on weride.pt and then checked it on trailforks. The pics of my previous post are all close to Terras de Bouro.
    Have fun!!

  • awesome!

  • I've got two Lyrik/Yari Debonair air springs I'm not going to be using again, anyone interested before I sling them on eBay?

    One 140mm C1, and one 150mm B1, £10 each + postage?

  • 1,000 km

  • I’ll have to look it up in the manual.

In related news my Jibb has finally been released from customs so I can send the Madonna’s shock and fork off to TF Tuned.

  • Alternatives to shimano d03s disc brake pads (four pot)

Is the answer superstar and if so the organic or Kevlar s4 pads?

  • Stick with them or go for shimano sintered if you want longer lasting.

  • I went from Shimano resin to metal pads and I like the way they feel more. Did you try that?

  • Uberbike Sintered

  • I was happy with the Shimano resin pads but their availability seems limited and they are costly compared to uberbike or superstar. But if that is just because they are better then I’ll pay the Shimano cost - could also consider Swiss stop or others too.

  • Shimano aren't really any better IME than Uberbike unless you fork out for the finned versions cos you need the cooling.

  • I might take both of them if they are still going?

  • All yours! PM me and I'll try and get them in the post this week

  • Uberbike do finned now and the pads are replaceable so you can reuse the fins.

Don't know if they're available for DJs specific brakes though

  • I decided to upgrade my neuron rather than get a new frame.
Going to fit a lyrik upfront, anyone got a suggestion on a rear shock?

  • We've now finished this years Alps trips, so the bike we bought for it is up for sale.

I'll get some pictures and so forth, but it's the Vitus Sommet that was discussed a while ago which I got from Pinkbike, suitable for a five foot six rider, 170 Lyrik, 160 SDU, 27.5".

I paid £1,650 IIRC and it's been ridden for just over two weeks since then - albeit in the Alps.

I will say that it's in better condition now than when we collected it.

  • they do rattle a bit though

  • Brexit, continuing to deliver value:

  • Only 4 weeks though, my pace frameset was stuck in customs for 8 weeks..what carrier is this with? Mine was originally with DPD but they outsourced it to UPS and their service was absolutely hopeless..

  • DHL to Parcel Force.

  • Parcel Force

And you're hoping it'll arrive before December?

  • A man can dream

  • Should have had it send to hotel in France...

  • I tried! They said I had to be there to receive it, which ruled that out.

  • Why not a Pike?
